Cyprus Health Tourism Council President and TRNC Deputy Dr. Ahmet Savaşan attended the “Presidents Summit” hosted by Moldova.

 

Cyprus Health Tourism Council President and TRNC Deputy Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, Turkey participated in the “Presidents” Summit" hosted by Moldova, which assumed the 8th term presidency of the Global Healthcare Travel Council (GHTC). In addition to Turkey, USA and TRNC, the council presidents of China, Germany, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Poland and Saudi Arabia, which are the vice presidency countries of the 8th term, also took part in the summit. At the summit, which was open to the online participation of 56 countries, important issues in the field of health tourism were discussed.

NEW ROAD MAP CREATED

The summit discussed topics such as “Regulatory Framework and Quality Standards”, “Insurance and Legal Issues”, “Infrastructure and Technology Investments”, “Pricing and Transparency”, “Training and Qualified Healthcare Personnel”, “Marketing and Reputation Management”, “Visa and Legal Regulations” and created a new roadmap for health tourism. Brussels activities of the council were also discussed at the meeting.

MOLDOVA'S MINISTER OF HEALTH AND WARRING PARTICIPATED IN PANEL

Within the scope of his contacts in Moldova, Savaşan met with Minister of Health Ala Nemerenco at the “International Health Tourism Forum” and participated in panels with expert speakers from different countries. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Savaşan’during his contacts in Moldova, GHTC Secretary General for the 7th term Dogan Yalki accompanied him.
